Dear Linear Scholar,
First time here? If so, first thing you need to know is that we been bumped up
at a
pause point for a couple of years now, wwwaiting for
the Law to change and the next thing you need to knowww
is that Big Bong Reality
has been Updated Monthly for the One Hundred and First time since September 1995.
METAphorically this web
construct can be likened to a solar powered space craft , each sail
is made of <html> shaped in such a way so as to powwwer the web
construct through cyber space, kinda like a sailing ship through the ocean. Since powering up the webcam can be likened to firing
up the 'prime thruster' of a rocket ship and since the BBt-PPP Cyber Capsule
was designed to only light up the prime thruster at the start of
construction and since there are so many sails powwwering the BBt-PPP, it has
made sense to let the 'good ole' BBt-PPP Cyber Capsule voyage blurbingly
along its eccentric tangent towards materialization at a future point in
space and time whilst I went else web to construct other smaller more
maneuverable constructs powwwered almost entirely by web cam imagery,
portals originally designed as tug boats for the BBt-PPP which were
designed to morph into 'retro rockets' with the passing of time.
Thus you know some of the wwwhy why this page morphed into an elseweb portal page
over the last few trips round the sun, a book markable sign post page that is
never more than a "mouse click" away from
wwwhere-ever the wwwords are being
wwwoven in the now.
Thing
is, that I never set out to become a Big Bong builder or a Cannabis Law Reform Activist, I set
out to become a writer and as you can imagine dear linear scholar, after
such a long time of not being able to manifest all of the myriad
requirements that obstacle me in reality you would think I would be some
what discouraged, not so, I mean, I knew from the instant that I had
the idea that
actually building Bongzilla (my nick name for the Big Bong Peace Pipe)
was going to be somewhere the other side of highly impossible.
Thing is, I am not discouraged, because no matter how
impossible building a 420 foot high Big Bong Peace Pipe
looks in February 2004, it is definitely and significantly
less impossible now than when I first had
the idea 9 years ago, not to mention the fact that
the writer/artist in me has had plenty of outlet weaving
what amounts to an entire sector of cyber space, which
is why, when all is said and done, I am not discouraged
by Bongzilla being bumped up at
this pause point, not when there is so much happening
in the real world of my highly subjective reality ;O)--~
Anyhow, getting finally to the "weblog"
component of the Febuary Reality Update = During February, I was to have been
continuing the transformation of the
Big Bong Mobile
into the
ultimate POTplant POT, getting it ready for
Mardi Grass 2004, however, there has been a crash! Yep, Herb, the Big Bong Mobiles onboard computer suffered a meltdown of the C:\DRIVE caused (I think) by a short circuit in the Motherboard. Thus I have had to scrap the 'grow show' due to total inability to webcast. Herb, as all linear scholars are aware is/was the back up webcating unit for the Nimbin HEMP Bar webshow, as if the death of herb isn't bad enough, it gets worse... Little Qwerty sent her last message "found 00475 RAM out of possible 1600" and then she just faded away and thus I wuz rolled all the way back to Mirpazoid, (mirpazoid is the name of the pentium 1 webcasting unit that took over from little qwerty late last century, mirpazoid is also the qwerty that launched the www.BigBongBurgerBar.com webspace and was the qwerty that started off the www.NimbinHempBar.com webcast at 4.20pm on April 20th 2000, Mirpazoid also wove the 2 of the biggest ever mardigrass websites 2000 and 2001)
Mirpazoid has no USB ports and can't run the web cam and so I assembled slowwwboot. Slowwwboot is a pile of Pentium 2 pieces which have to be physically assembled to boot, statisticaly, Slowwwboot clocks in at 266mhz, 256 MB ram with more than 4and 20 gigs of data woven onto 3 physical hard drives -thing is that slowwwboot is an unstable pile of pieces that has proved to be only just capable of running the webcam, so as long as the CPU don't melt under the load, it should work okay as at least as a typewwwwriter until a replacement webcasting unit can be manifested...Oh yeah... Just to top it all off, the canon A5 power shot camera I have been borrowing for the last couple of years also died.
On the bright side, the car component of the Mobile weathered the crash without a scratch, the engine still starts no problem, the clutch is still clutching and the gears are still in the box, just the one flat tyre that needs to be fixed before it can roll into action and so I will probably be putting some more seeds into the BigBongMobile on the February Full Moon because I figure that if the BigBong Mobile don't have a webcasting unit on board it can at least go to mardigrass as an entry in the POT Art Conmpetition and thus, having run out of tug boats and stuff to link to for this month, the only thing left to tell you at this point in cyber space and time dear linear scholar is
