Now is a good time to assemble a beverage or what ever it is you do while wwwaiting for eyecandy to arrive, the first image you will see is of wollumbin, also known as Mount Warning, this pic was taken along the road rarely travelled that leads to the Peace Zone. ;O)--~

THE CONSTRUCTION SITE

The Construction Site (Peace Zone) is an empty area beside a road rarely travelled inside the rim of the caldera of the extinct volcano that you will find at the eastern most edge of the Great South Land. The Peace Zone is a blank canvas upon which to create, an empty parcel of land that is not connected (yet) to mains power or the telephone grid, it is truly in the cyber wilderness.

To many people this may seem bizarre, trying to start a computer based concept inside the rim of the caldera of an extinct volcano, but of course, from our pppoint of view, it is the very fact that the Peace Zone is inside the rim of the caldera of an extinct volcano that makes this exact location so attractive and anyway, this ppproject has always been about the creation of something new, something that you can't get any where or any web else, not to mention the highly important factor that the caldera of the extinct volcano that you will find on the eastern most edge of the Great South Land is located at the geographical center of world peace, after all, Australia is about as far away as you can get from most of the wars that are going on.

The location is ideal in the sense that there has to be an element of journey involved, and for most linear scholars, the journey to the caldera of the extinct volcano involves the crossing thousands of miles of desert, ice or ocean 'just' to get to the eastern most edge of the Great South Land and ideal in the sense that extinct volcano's are easy to find and hard to miss, being as they are, 'mountain sized.'

Anyway, the nearest airport to the Peace Zone is Coolangatta, find your way to the main highway in Australia, the Pacific, then travel along it until you find the town of Murwillumbah.

Mur'bah is where you turn West. Once you leave Mur'bah you are entering the Rainbow Region, follow the signs 'as if' you where heading to Nimbin / Kyogle. Go @pprox 5 klicks past the turn off to Nimbin until you spot either of the signs below.

44k's to M'ah and 35'ks to Kyogle, 100 metres North of the Lillian Rock Exchange.

At the turn-off to the Border Ranges National Park.

Williams Road Barkersvale, the road that leads to the Border Ranges National Park, Northern N.S.W

This means there are 2 Kilometres of dirt road to go.

The road is "POT holed" procede carefully.

Keep your eyes peeled for the rainbow coloured flags
that will be appearing on your right..

Almost there, just before the corner..

Find some where to park, because you have arrived.

Follow the rainbow flags down to "Ground Zero"

Now it's time to take the next "steps."

through the gate..

Walk down the hill.

Ground Zero.

You are now in the performance space.

Webgreetings once more Dear Linear Scholar,

You've caught up to where the physical reality of this concept is at in physical reality, the physical NOW so to speak, and whilst it may seem that physical reality is lagging somewhat behind the virtual reality as far as totality of construction is concerned, it doesn't mean that the reality construction is behind schedule, it mostly means that this web zone is way ahead of schedule, but the point is there are 'some things' causing the pppausing besides the fact that this is as far as I have been able to get thus far in the time elapsed and on the gadgetbudget at my disposal.

Point is that we ARE paused in reality for the following reasons;

1) The Peace Zone is not connected to any power grids.
2) The Peace Zone is not connected to the telephone grid.
3) I don't have the dollar$ to rectify problems 1 & 2.

We ARE NOT paused in reality for the following reasons;

1) The dude who owns the land has changed his mind.
2) The government or the police stepped in and stopped me.
3) I have changed my mind and decided to do something else.
4) I am too lazy to start or don't know what to do next.

Of course, a more technologically accessible Peace Zone would be one way to proceed, but, the main thing to remember here is that despite it's limitations in the now, the current peace zone is exactly where it needs to be for the future.

Bottom Line?

We can't realistically begin the construction of the Big Bong Peace Pipe *in reality* until such time as cannabis is legal or a multi-million dollar injection of venture capital materializes. I mean there is no escaping the fact that it is going to cost millions of dollars to build the Big Bong Peace Pipe and stage the lighting ceremony, mind you, sooner or later we will have enough Tee Tickets reserved to guarantee that the whole exercise of building the Big Bong Peace Pipe is profitable to all concerned, mind you, I'm not sitting around waiting, there is a mechanism being evolved to hurdle the obstacles above. ;O)--~
