The Man with the Land

Actually, if the truth be known, there was no man with the land, he was as much a figment of Glitters imagination as is everything is that you see in this web zone. When Glitter began the planning of the event he had several sites in mind as to where to shoot the "Campfire Scenes" and in August, he set off on what was to be the final site selection tour. Unlike other events of a similar nature, the actual site was kept secret up until a few days before the event, not unlike the methodology employed by rave parties. The idea being that a set of instructions would be emailed to the ticket holders with directions to "Jack-In" points where they would receive further cyber directions.

The travel directions allowed enough time to hitch hike from either Sydney or Brisbane and were designed to further extend the reality of the BBt-PPP interface experience. In fact all of those who were coming to audition for the role of Glitter were specifically asked to hitch hike to the Event so as to be in character when they arrived.
