Reality Update,
January 14th 1999.

The next MAIN EVENT on the web cam calender is the mAd goAts hAt pArAde starting @ 1PM THIS SUNDAY January 17th (Sat Night 16th USA) where once again the BBt-PPP will be broadcasting LIVE from the Aquarius Fair in NIMBIN.

WWWebgreetings Dear Linear Scholar,

I have been so busy constructing the new BBt-PPP Web Chassis and drawing the webschemeazoid that it seems ages since I've had a chance to sit back and actually write to you ;O(

The last month or so has been a hectic time and the parallels between the theme image to 1999 and my physical reality is upper most on my mind as I type - High in the Hills above Nimbin - On the top of the Stone so to speak, imagery, like it or loathe it, you can't ignore it..

Anyway, one of the more bizarre elements that has been causing the pausing on the movie side of things is the lack of a the main Prop required by Scene One. When I wrote the novel, I chose to have the lead character picked up in the first scene by the most unique vehicle that I knew for sure I would be able to borrow when it came time to make the movie.

The car I chose is kinda my first cousin, my uncle adopted Mathilda when I was 10, she's a 1921 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, anyway, in mid 1997, on her way home from a run to the top of Mount Kosiosko, she was hit by a Kangaroo. Since Mathilda is a tough old girl she survived the whack, but the Roo demolished both it's self and her right hand rear mudguard, once in the paint shop Uncle Bunnys crew of panel beaters totally restored her to As New condition, all was fine for a while and then, on her way home from the judging of the 1998 Concourse De Elegance (where she was pipped out of first place by a brand new rolls that was delivered straight from the factory) she came down with the mechanical equivalent of varicose veins, the oilways in her crank case blocked up, and she burnt out some big end and main bearings, caused, we think, by sitting idle in the paint shop for over a year.

She is due out of the Car Hospital in time for the 1999 Federal Rally in late March, so assuming she survives that, then it's movie stardom for the dear old thing, mind you, not that that will be anything new, she is quite a media veteran, she has appeared in hundreds of wedding videos over the years, not to mention back ground work for TV and other "Roaring Twenties" Scene setting. Anyway, that's just one of the things that's been causing some of the pausing on the movie side of things.......

I some times think it's easier to think of this concept in terms of it's various facets or sub components, because even though  we are stalled in certain facets, others are evolving along quite nicely.

For example, if you think of the Peace Pipe in it's guise as a Statue of a symbol to wwworld peace, then it becomes a Statue of Liberty sized tourist attraction that can be built any where anytime, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the BB-PP will become one of the worlds premium tourist destinations where ever and whenever it's built, logic and research tells me so.

I have several options at the moment as to where "exactly" the Movie Set will be constructed, just too early to say, mostly because the instant that the dude I'm dealing with learns the purpose I want the land for....

But then we don't actually need to buy the land just yet, I have total access to all the background scenery I need to make a short video, as kind of a half hour Info-mercial for the main event so to speak, the rehearsals and casting for this will be LIVE to WWW and then we can start on the MAIN EVENT when the Rolls is available... Say some time April.

The next event on the web cam calender is on Sunday January 17th (Sat Night 16th USA) where once again the BBt-PPP will be broadcasting live from the Aquarius Fair in the Nimbin Community Center. It's the mAd goAts hAt pArAde and if New Years Eve at the Nimbin Bush theatre was anything to go by, there are gunna be some sensational hAts on display. *```###] ;O)--~

In closing, there are a few other random web cam projects under consideration for between now and the Aquarius Fair, but well nothing major and nothing for the next couple of days that's for sure, I mean it's still holiday time isn't it?

Till next
Peace
;o)--~
G.
